Kevin McKay, a financially struggling school bus driver who is at a low point in his personal life. Despite the overwhelming danger as the massive fire engulfs the town of Paradise, Kevin answers an urgent call to evacuate 22 stranded children from Ponderosa Elementary School. He is joined by a dedicated school teacher, Mary Ludwig, as they navigate their school bus, nicknamed u“Bus 963,” through a chaotic and terrifying inferno. The evacuation turns into a white knuckle fight for survival as they face.
