Mark, a family man, wakes up injured and trapped at the bottom of a massive pit or sinkhole. With the city in chaos above, he realizes rescue is unlikely. Forced to seek an escape route, he crawls deeper into a series of dark, narrow tunnels beneath the collapsing city. There, he encounters another injured survivor, a woman named Kate, who is initially defensive and distrustful, even holding him at gunpoint.
