Anna, a teenager grieving the sudden death of her parents, who moves from New York to a small, unfamiliar town in Florida to live with her estranged, blind grandmother. Feeling isolated, Anna falls in with a couple of local teens. However, she becomes a bystander to an unforgivable act of violence and finds herself ensnared by a vengeful folkloric entity known as Mr. Sandman.
