Two young sisters, Spider and Jessie, who are left to fend for themselves after their mother dies from a fatal drug overdose. Fearing that they will be separated and placed into the foster care system, the older sister, Spider, convinces Jessie to help her hide their mother’s body. They attempt to live on their own, navigating the challenges of survival, keeping their secret, and maintaining the appearance of normalcy at school.
